Sic Bo Strategy
Sic Bo strategy is easy to understand in a very short time. Sic Bo is an ancient Chinese dice game meaning “Small Big”. It’s played on a table with 3 dice and has odds from even money all the way up to 150-1. In order to hit that winning combination though, each of the 3 dice would have to hit the same number that you had predicted in advance. For example: 1,1,1or 2,2,2 or 3,3,3 or 4,4,4 or 5,5,5 or 6,6,6. The odds for hitting a triple are 215:1 leaving the house with a huge advantage.
The dice are shaken by the dealer, by means of a vibrating platform under a glass cover.
Since this is a game of chance, the best Sic Bo strategy is found in playing with the odds. There is an area called Small that pays even money where you bet that the sum of the three dice will equal 4,5,6,7 8,9, or 10 excluding the same number on all 3 dice.
There’s also an area called Big that pays even money too. When you play Big, you’re betting that the sum of the 3 dice will equal 11,12, 13, 14, 15, 16, or 17 excluding the same number on all 3 dice. When you play either Big or Small, the house has its least advantage of any Sic Bo play at almost 3 percent.
Of course, you are not limited to just one play with Sic Bo. You can play as many combinations as you choose; just remember that the best odds and the best Sic Bo strategy lie with Big and Small.
There are 8 different ways to bet at a Sic Bo table. All the other bets give the house a huge advantage. Another example:
On the Sic Bo table, there is an area with the numbers 4-17. Those numbers correspond to the sum of the 3 dice. In this play, you are picking a number between 4 and 17 whereas in playing Big or Small, you are betting that the sum of the 3 dice will be Big or Small. In this play, you are predicting the exact sum and the odds go up considerably. So does the payout of course, but the house definitely has the advantage here. The payout here ranges from 6 to 1 all the way to 50 to one. Again, the house has a tremendous advantage.
If you use the Sic Bo strategy outlined here, you stand a good chance at an enjoyable time without losing a lot of money. Of course, there’s always the chance that you could win too.
